Mount Etna

Mount Etna- we started on a local bus to a town at the base of the mountain.... then up the cable car to 2500 ft above sea level

 this is us on the cable car

 

the start of our walk from 2500 ft to 2920 ft

 here we are at 2920 ft- at the Torre del Filosofo

 a crater created by the 2007 eruption
